Moving In

We are so excited to have you here!  It's going to be a great year!

Here is a quick checklist of items you need to know:

1. Pick up your keys! On the first day of your contract we will be available for you to pick up your keys at our place.  You can pick up your keys anytime from 12pm to 5pm.  If you need to pick up your keys after the first day of your contract, please contact us.

2. Make sure you have your First Month's Rent (FMR).  If you're moving in for the Fall semester, FMR will be applied to September, not August (which is great)!

3. Also know...

•    Put utilities in your/your roommate's name
•    Internet information (if applicable)
•    Information on parking passes and parking spaces
•    Get your mail keys
•    Read the Move in Packet

4. Read the Move in Packet.  I know we've already mentioned it, but it's really important.  In the past, each tenant has received a paper packet that contained many tips, procedures, and rules.  Instead of giving this packet to each tenant as they move in, the packet is available right here!  Please review it as there are many important points and tips to help save you from unnecessary fees.  The packet also has important information about how to pay rent and a list of your responsibilities.  As stated in the Addendum to your contract, you must read this Move in Packet.


5. Print off the Roommate Utility Contract. This is an optional contract between you and your roommates regarding payments you oversee, like utilities.  We do not deal at all with utilities, but we are offering this form for you if you'd like to use it.  We recommend that you use it, as it will settle disputes if one roommate (what if it's you) gets stuck with four months of utility bills.
